Life and death, quantum mechanics and poetry, love and friendship, come together in this short film. Jesuit Fr. Joe Ryan is a physics professor who discovers he has terminal stomache cancer. Dr. Karen Armstrong is a Professor of English, a poet, mourning her mother's death. As Joe approaches death, their friendship ebbs and flows as if guided by quantum theory.
